La Locanda del Castello REstaurant

La Locanda del Castello Restaurant is located in the oldest part of the building, where the oil press once stood. Much of the original structure has been retained, including the typical brick lintels. The kitchen offers its customers the ancient flavors of Tuscan recipes. Among the delicious local specialties are the prestigious white truffle, pecorino cheese, ham and cold cuts of the area, including the famous Cinta Senese, honey and Montalcino saffron. The à la carte menu is extensive and periodically renewed according to seasonal products. The wine list is remarkable, including wines from the Chianti area, Montalcino and Montepulciano, to satisfy the most refined palates. Tasting menus are offered in special periods, such as the White Truffle Festival in November, special menus for groups, wedding receptions or other occasions. In the summer it is possible to eat outside, either on the veranda overlooking the small square with the well, appreciating the atmosphere of the old village, or on the terrace overlooking the rest of the town and from where you can admire a beautiful glimpse of the Senese hills.
